Merlin 3s 0 - 3 EHC (Friendly)

We unfortunately had to forfeit our points this week as we could get a full team together, but we were able to play a friendly with merlin’s today who helped us get a team together with their players so a massive thank you to everyone who played on the Ellon side today we really appreciated every one of you!

I can’t be any happier with how our team played today, every player made the game enjoyable and competitive, and all the advice and help we got from the Merlin’s side today was very appreciated!

Our player of the match today goes to Priya, you played amazing today and everyone could see the 100% effort you put into today’s game! ❤️🏑

AUWHC 5s 1-1 ELH
today we played AUWHC 5s at ASV.
We could only get together 8 players for this game against their team of 15.
I can’t fault any of the players from Ellon today, you all put in 100% effort and coming away from this game with a 1-1 draw is amazing, you should all be super proud! ❤️
Player of the match today goes to Maisie M! you did super in both the forward and midfield position and your effort today was seen by the entire team!

GCW 4s 1-0 ELH

Yesterday we played GCW at Rubislaw.
To start we only had 9 players, but GCW were a huge help and gave us one of their players, Emma, to make it up to 10, so thank you GCW!

We held our play so so well throughout the whole game, even when GCW got a goal in the first half of the game. It was a great game to play and to watch for everyone who turned up to support both teams.

The whole team did so well and I cannot be prouder of each and every player that was playing on Sunday, you all kept hopes high and kept a positive attitude throughout, even without a full team!

Player of the Match goes to Abigail!
It was a very close call though with Priya only 1 vote behind!

Can’t be prouder as a captain for the game we played today, every player on the pitch did amazing!
We took the first quarter to get into the game but after that we really came together as a team!

On Sunday we played a friendly game against Aberdeen Hockey Club, which Aberdeen helped us with player numbers to get a 9v9 game. The game can’t be faulted at all, both sides played amazing and it was a positive game from both teams!
A massive thank you to Emily and the rest of her team at AHC, you were all amazing and we can’t wait for our next game! ❤️🏑

Maisie and Leah from our Ladies team were in Glasgow this past weekend playing in the team along with many other talented players from the Northeast!
The whole of Ellon HC cannot be prouder of how far they have both came along alongside the club!
The whole U17s girls played amazing! Well done girls
