🚨 TICKET UPDATE 🚨

Due to demand, VIP tickets for the Big Screen showing of Scotland v Morocco in the Marquee are now SOLD OUT.

A limited number of unreserved tickets are still available, however there will be NO ticket sales at the gate on the night!

The ticket office closes at 12pm on Friday, so if you're planning to join us, please secure your tickets before then.

Join us in the marquee at Oldmeldrum Sports as Scotland take on Morocco in their next huge World Cup match.

Bar opens from 7pm, with USA v Australia also being shown on the big screen before the main event.

Only a week away from the 96th anniversary Oldmeldrum Sports & Highland Games that will be officially opened at 1.30pm by Rebecca Curran from BBC Scotland.

We will be joined by Lonach, Huntly, City of Aberdeen, Inverurie, Kintore, Meldrum Academy and Highland Granite Pipe Bands.

In the main arena there will be the Glenfiddich Qualifying Heavy Events, the Axis Farms Heavy Events, Claymore Homes Light Events, MRG Electrical Services Highland Dancing and the Rollstud Drum Majors Display including the famous Mace O'er the Banner.

In the Marquee there will be WrestleZone, Meldrum & Meldrum and Bourtie Heritage Society and Magic Jono

The Baby Show will take place at 2.15pm in the area under the main sports pavilion.

The 96th anniversary Oldmeldrum Sports & Highland Games will be officially opened at 1.30pm on Saturday 20th June 2026, by BBC Scotland's journalist and anchor Rebecca Curran.

The show starts at 10.30am with the Glenfiddich Qualifying Heavy Events.

At 1pm the open Axis Farms Heavy Events and the Claymore Homes Light Events kick off in the main arena.

At 1.20pm the massed pipe Bands comprising Lonach, Huntly, Inverurie, City of Aberdeen, Kintore Pipe Band, Meldrum Academy and the Highland Granite Development Pipe Band.

Following the official opening by Rebecca, the Meldrum 5 Miler starts followed shortly afterwards by the kids mile race.

The MRG Electrical Services Highland Dancing competitions start for 11 & under, 12-15 years and Adults.

The baby show starts at 2.15pm in the area at the back of the main Sports Pavilion.

In the marquee we have a serious of high energy bouts from the heroes of WrestleZone. Magic Jono will be there to keep the kids entertained throughout the afternoon and there will be a display by the Oldmeldrum & Meldrum and Bourtie Heritage Society.

Around the field there are many trade and charity stands for you to visit along with Wright's funfair at the top of the field.

Back in the arena there will be the Rollstud Drum Major Display and the famous Mace O'er the Banner competition.

The Heavy Events continue with the Morris's Hotel British Caber Championship.

The arena events conclude about 5pm with the final massed pipe bands.

The evening events kick off at about 5pm in the beer tent where there will be live music from the Fyres and Remastered all the way up to 11pm.

Live on a giant 16 foot wide screen in the Marquee come along and cheer on the Scottish lads as they take on the AFCON champions Morocco in the second group match of the World Cup Finals.

Its been a long wait to see Scotland back at the World Cup Finals so we had better make the best of it!!!

Doors open at 7pm on Friday 19th June. Watch the USA v Australia game as a warm up too. K.O. 8pm.

VIP seating provides the best view of the screen and will have table service throughout the evening.

There is a family area where under 18's are welcome along with a responsible adult.

The remaining area is unreserved seating/standing.

All ticket prices include a free drink on arrival.

Oldmeldrum Sports & Highland Games will be held on Saturday 20th June 2026. We will have all the usual attractions, pipe bands, highland dancing heavy events including the British Caber Championship, light events, five mile run.

WrestleZone are back in the marquee along with other attractions including Meldrum and Bourtie Heritage Society.

Hi everyone. Just a reminder that the fireworks display will start at 6:30pm tonight in the Pleasure Park Oldmeldrum.

Hot drinks and food will be available in the pavilion from 5:30pm. It’s cash only.

Please do not take your own fireworks and if you take sparklers please dispose of them safely in the sand buckets that will be along the barrier at the front of the crowd.

It is on street parking, but if you can walk please do so to ease any congestion.

There will be a cash collection to help us cover the costs. If you don’t have cash on you there has been a justgiving page set up so you can donate online
