EXCITING NEWS LADIES OF OLDHAM!!

I have my very own Trigger Point Pilates class starting on the 4th Feb at Oldham Leisure Centre!

This class is specifically for those who have chronic pain, and muscular tightness. This class helps improve mobility whilst reducing pain!.

Please spread the word to anyone who you think This would benefit.

Please keep in mind that this class is all floor based exercises.

Did you know that the calories burned thing on the treadmills (or other cardio machines) is all bu****it?

Yeah. Not accurate at all.

Here's why.
For me to give you a calorie allowance for you to eat for weight loss or maintenance or whatever I need to know; whether your male or female, how old you are, your height and your weight, and how many days you exercise per week. That treadmill...didn't ask you any of those questions. So if I need to ask all those questions to give you a calorie allowance to consume, surely the same questions need to be asked to say how many calories have been burned no?

Also...let's say two people go on the treadmill together. One size 18, one size 8. They both go on the same speed, same incline, same length of time. Will they have burned the same amount of calories? According to the treadmill yeah.... but in reality the the person that is size 18 will have burned more than the size 8 girl. Carrying additional weight is a workout in itself and therefore will burn more calories doing the same task as someone without additional weight.

So don't focus on calories burned on your next workout. It's not accurate for you at all. If you need a new idea or new focus send me a message and let's talk..
