As someone who has struggled with mental health for the last 8-9 years, when I say that exercise will help your mental health in ways you can't imagine, 90% of you that read this either won't believe me or just keep on scrolling, fact!
If you're still here and want to know why then keep on reading. It's a really simple answer if I'm being honest with you that as a fitness instructor might sound really ironic of me saying..."it's because you're not ready yet".
I'm not lying to you, it's because you're simply not ready to begin your exercise journey. Your mind is the most powerful tool in your whole body and if you're not telling yourself you are up for today's workout then multiple things can or will happen:
1. A risk of injury due to lack of concentration.
2. You're not going to get most from your workout due to not being motivated to get the results.
3. THE BIG ONE....you WILL quit and it's going to be twice as hard to try again because you know how you felt the first time you tried.
I will never push anybody into an exercise routine or encourage them to join the gym if I know they're struggling or going to struggle.
If exercise is something that has crossed your mind recently and would like to talk about how it can help you and benefits you would receive (AND THIS IS JUST A TALK) without someone trying to push you into signing up with them or pushing you into a gym, then PLEASE feel free to drop me a message.
