The traps will be running and the kettle will be on as Running Hill Clay Pigeon Club opens its doors this Sunday from 10:30am.
Whether you're a seasoned shot, looking to sharpen your skills, or completely new to the sport, everyone is welcome. Come along and enjoy a friendly atmosphere, challenging targets, and some great shooting in the beautiful Saddleworth countryside.

📣 A Message to Our Members and Supporters 📣

Ladies and Gentlemen,

For many years, Running Hill Clay Pigeon Club has worked hard to provide an enjoyable, welcoming, and affordable shooting experience for all. We have always been mindful of keeping our prices as low as possible, despite the increasing costs associated with running the club.

Recently, many of you will have noticed that we have experienced a number of trap breakdowns. Unfortunately, several of our traps are now reaching the end of their serviceable life, and the cost of repairs and replacement equipment is becoming increasingly difficult to absorb.

As a club, we are incredibly proud of what we have built together and are committed to maintaining the high standards that our members and visitors have come to expect. However, to continue providing the quality of shooting that everyone enjoys, we are reaching out for support.

While we do not make this request lightly, any donation—large or small—would be greatly appreciated and will go directly towards the repair and replacement of our traps and equipment. Every contribution will help secure the future of the club and ensure that Running Hill remains a thriving venue for clay pigeon shooting for years to come.

We would like to thank every member, supporter, and visitor for your continued loyalty, encouragement, and commitment to the club. Your support means more than you know.

This is it ladies and gentlemen… the HOME LEG of the Saddleworth Cup and we need every member behind the club! 💪🎯

Booking in opens from 10:30am and we’re calling on all members to come down, represent the club and help us put in a massive performance on home ground. Every score counts, every clay matters, and the support from our members makes all the difference.

Let’s fill the ground, make some noise and show exactly what this club is about. 👊
After the shooting, food will be served at The Cross Keys from 2pm 🍔🍟🍺 — the perfect chance to celebrate, regroup and enjoy the day together.

🏆 Saddleworth Cup – First Leg 🎯
On behalf of everyone at Running Hill Clay Pigeon Club, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Highmoor Clay Pigeon Club for hosting the first leg of the Saddleworth Cup 🙌
Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side 🌧️, but despite this, we are incredibly grateful to all of our members who attended and represented the club with great commitment, determination, and sportsmanship 👏
We now look forward to welcoming you all to Running Hill for the second leg on 17th May 📅
