Merry Christmas and an Eventful New Year to all of our Members, Friends and Supporters, both old and new.
As 2025 comes to an end and our clubs close their doors for Christmas, before we start to look forward to what 2026 will bring and start planning the events and seminars for our next events Calendar, lets take a minute to reflect on an eventful and successful 2025 and just what an amazing year we have had.
Our Club Instructors and their Students have taken part in 18 Organised Events this year, totaling in more than 64 hours of extra training and tuition as well as the chance to meet students and instructors from our family of clubs, strengthen existing friendships and share knowledge with friends from other groups.
In April this year —We welcomed Burscough Ju-Jitsu club and their students into our family of clubs, strengthening our group with a club that shares our ethic and vision for our future.
We celebrated another year of Ju-Jitsu in Belgium, sharing another busy weekend training and socializing with good friends both old and new. The seminar and grading event this year saw the largest number of students supporting our friends in Belgium to date.
We hosted our first annual Black Tie Dinner Dance, supported by many of our BJJKO members and guests.
In august—We Celebrated Cherry Leaf Ju-Jitsu Club’s 75th Anniversary marked by a special seminar, showcasing instructors from within our family of clubs.
Club Instructors and their Assistants developed and Graded more than 700 Kyu grade students in their clubs.
18 black belts took their gradings at one of our black belt grading events or by special appointment.
We Awarded 12 new Instructor appointments in recognition of the hard work and time our Assistants and volunteers give to their clubs to help develop our next generation of black belts.
And last but by no means least, we welcomed more than 300 new students from new and existing clubs into our family.
We already have another exciting year planned with confirmed dates for Seminars, Black Belt Grading Events, Master Classes and other events, but for now,
stay safe, have a Merry Christmas and a Peaceful New Year.
We look forward to sharing another exciting and eventful year with you all in 2026.
