⚽️ ENGLAND WORLD CUP GAMES LIVE AT GCC ⚽️

A reminder that we'll be showing England's remaining World Cup group games live at Greenfield Cricket Club – see the flyer below for full details.

📅 Tuesday 23rd June
Why not make an evening of it? Head over to Shaw to support our 2nd XI in their T20 fixture, then return to the club to watch England take on Ghana at 9pm.

📅 Saturday 27th June
A full day of cricket and football awaits! Watch our 1st XI take on Mottram from 12:30pm, stay around the club afterwards, and then cheer on the Three Lions as they face Panama at 10pm.

🏏 Another Huge Week Ahead for Greenfield CC! 🏏

Normally we'd be bringing you our weekend fixture roundup on Thursday, but when the weekend starts on a Tuesday, we thought we'd better get in early!

No fewer than NINE senior fixtures are on the schedule this week and weekend as another busy period awaits the club.

Our home fixtures are shown on the attached flyer, with plenty of cricket to enjoy at the ePOWER TRUCKS ARENA.

🏠 HOME FIXTURES

▶️ Friday – 1st XI v Shaw (T20)

▶️ Saturday – 1st XI v Mottram

▶️ Sunday – 4th XI take centre stage against Elton

🛣️ ON THE ROAD

▶️ Tuesday – 2nd XI @ Shaw (T20)

▶️ Thursday – 1st XI @ Royton (T20)

▶️ Friday – 2nd XI @ Heyside (T20)

▶️ Saturday – 2nd XI @ Roe Green

▶️ Sunday – 3rd XI @ Radcliffe

▶️ Sunday – Women's XI @ Hayfield

Good luck to all our teams this week, and spare a thought for the Selection Committee as they somehow try to keep nine senior sides competitive and available!

🏏 A Huge Weekend Ahead for Greenfield CC 🏏

This weekend sees an incredible SEVEN senior fixtures involving Greenfield CC, including a triple-header for our 2nd XI at the ePOWER TRUCKS ARENA:

▶️ Friday – T20 action as we take on Werneth.
▶️ Saturday – Elton are the visitors in league action.
▶️ Sunday – The headline fixture of the weekend as we face Edgworth in the 2nd XI Cup Quarter-Final.

Meanwhile, our other sides are also on the road:

1st XI
▶️ Friday – T20 away at Heyside.
▶️ Saturday – League trip to Denton St Lawrence.

4th XI
▶️ Sunday – Away at Ashton Ladysmith.

Women's XI
▶️ Sunday – Away at Lindow.

With SEVEN senior fixtures across three days, it's set to be a busy and exciting weekend for the club. We'd love to see plenty of support at the ePOWER TRUCKS ARENA, particularly on Sunday for our 2nd XI's cup quarter-final.

⚽🌍 WORLD CUP LIVE AT GREENFIELD CC 🌍⚽

The World Cup kicks off this week at GCC.

Wednesday sees England begin their campaign against Croatia, kicking off at 9pm. Pies will be available from our café.

Friday night's World Cup fixture between Scotland and Morocco will be shown live in the clubhouse following our T20 against Werneth.

🔥 The BBQ will be fired up from 6pm.
🏏 T20 v Werneth starts at 6pm.
⚽ Scotland v Morocco kicks off at 11pm.

Come down, support the club, enjoy the cricket and stay on for a great night of World Cup football.
