Congratulations, Mo!

We’re delighted to congratulate Mo on graduating this Friday from the Foundation Children & Young People programme, an achievement worth celebrating!

Many of you may recognise Mo from his work at Saddleworth Gym, where he is a Swim Teacher, or from seeing him out on the pitches inspiring our Mini Kickers. Mo is now ready to take the next exciting step in his career journey towards becoming a PE teacher.

Please join us in wishing him every success as he works towards completing his BA (Hons) and Master’s qualifications and achieving his goal 🎉

October Sport & Swim Camp ⭐

Join us this October for our Sport & Swim Camp! Our exciting camps are tailored to children aged 6 to 11, capturing their interests and imaginations. Our team of qualified coaches will supervise your child in an active, multi-activity setting.

Our camps will take place from Monday, 26th to Friday, 30th of October, with the Swim Camp located at Oldham Leisure Centre and our Sport Camp at Failsworth Sports Centre.

⚠️ Essential Maintenance Starting Tomorrow at Chadderton Wellbeing Centre

Floor refurbishment work is taking place in the main entrance from 20th to 27th October. Stairs will be used to access most Oldham Active facilities during this time.

⚠️ Temporary access
All areas, Pool, Sauna, Gym and Studio can be accessed via the door to the left of the main entrance.

• Staff will be onsite throughout to signpost members to the right route
• The lift will be available on request for anyone who needs it.
• Where possible, please avoid bringing prams or buggies during this period, as access will be limited.
• No Easyline classes will run during this period.

The female-only gym, main gym, swimming lessons, and group exercise classes will all continue to operate as usual.

⚠️ Card Payments only
During this period, we can only accept card payments; cash will not be accepted. If you'd prefer to pay in cash, you can pay in advance at any of our other sites and, leading up to the maintenance date, 20th October, at Chadderton.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we carry out this work. Normal access resumes on 28th October.

Weekly Wildcard 🎃☠️

We're just over halfway into our Train and Treat Bingo! And if you've been following along, you will be eagerly awaiting the next Weekly Wildcard!

Every week, we will be sharing a special class on our socials. Attend this special class at any of our Oldham Active sites to earn a one-time wildcard Stamp. The wildcard can only be used once to replace any challenge on Levels 1–3 (e.g. swap it for ‘Bring a Friend’).

This week, the wildcard class is Pilates. To get this wildcard stamp, attend any Pilates class at any Oldham Active site this week, then get your stamp at reception. It's that easy!

It's not too late to join in our Train and Treat Bingo, simply pick up a bingo card from reception and get involved!
