Oldham Community league Cricket orchestrated yesterday’s tournament which was won by Oldham King Riders CC

Teams mainly from the local area joined in yesterday’s indoor blast which was officially opened by Councillor Abdul Malik.

Thank you for attending at such a short notice. Your inspiring words during the tournament set the tone and reminded us of the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork that we all strive to uphold. Thank you for your unwavering support and encouragement, which motivate us to make this tournament a platform for showcasing talent and building camaraderie.

We are truly honored to have had you with us, and we look forward to your continued support in the future. Thank you once again for gracing us with your presence.

2 groups of 4 teams, top 2 going into the semis and the winners from that progressing to the final.

Group stage games was absolutely brilliant to watch, fantastic bowling and some power hitting made the short format 6 a side matches a very watchable occasion.

Both the semi final produced epic matches to behold. Anyone from the 4 semi finalists could have progressed to the final bar OKR who was on a different level yet again.

Thank you to all the teams who participated in this year’s tournament which will live long in the memory.

Finally.

After a lengthy weather affected season we managed to complete the fixtures and end the season.

Huge Congratulations to this years winners Oldham King Riders Cricket Club who won the league at a canter.

A Big thank you to all the teams who gave their all specially Oldham Rising CC. And to Bradford Bengal Tigers CC for their effort.
And to Hyde boys CC, Oldham stars Sports Club, Rochdale Tigers sports club and to Chadderton CC who was the closest challengers to the top team.

Trophies, medals other formalities will be distributed soon.

Looking forward to next year’s edition of this league. Promise to be bigger and better one.

Last game of the season not to be missed.

Rochdale Tigers Sports Club host Champions elect Oldham King Riders CC at Uppermill’s ground OL3 6HF on Thursday 22nd of August.

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy some fireworks. Shackles are off, we are anticipating some good batting masterclass from the champions.

Hoping to see if Rochdale can spoil the party😎

A very hectic day on both sides of the world.

Here Chadderton CC maintained their strong hold on second position with a convincing win against Oldham Rising CC

Keeping their and everyones mind on All Bangladeshi’s on the other side of the world where the Prime Minister of Bangladesh suddenly resigned and fled the Country giving full power to the Army amid massive pressure from the Student community.

Our prayers goes to the people who lost their lives in this struggle for peace and democracy.

It was time for rejoice and a full re-set of the administrative powers of Bangladesh.
