Glow and Grow: The Colours of Emotions

Last week’s Glow and Grow sessions were all about The Colours of Emotions, designed especially for little ones preparing to start school. We explored feelings through fun, interactive storytelling, gentle yoga poses, and calming breathwork — helping children recognise and express their emotions in a safe and playful way. Below are the wonderful children from Moorside Stars Private Nursery.

What’s beautiful about these sessions is how flexible they are — I can weave in all sorts of important themes, like confidence, friendships, worries, change, or resilience, through creative stories, movement, and mindfulness. It’s a nurturing space where children learn tools they can carry with them into school and beyond.

Today at Moorside Stars, our nursery children went on a magical adventure to find the Rainbow Monster—and guess what? He wasn’t scary at all! 🌈👾

Through yoga, movement, and mindfulness, the children discovered that things aren’t always as they seem. Sometimes, what we fear is just something new waiting to be understood. 💛✨
