**Muay Thai is becoming a joke.**

These days, someone learns a few punches and kicks and suddenly they’re offering 1-to-1 Muay Thai coaching.

I keep seeing videos on tik tok where the student’s stance, balance and technique are all over the place, but the coach is already holding the pads and throwing big combinations at them.

Pads should not come before the basics.

First teach:
🥊 Stance
🥊 Guard
🥊 Balance
🥊 Footwork
🥊 Correct technique

Then you move on to combinations, power and pads.

Muay Thai is an art. It takes years to properly understand and teach.

Don’t ruin the art just to make a few dollars. If you teach someone bad technique, you could be doing more harm than good.

Learn it properly. Respect it. Then teach it properly.
