Both our GREENS & PINK then collected their League title trophies! WELL DONE EVERYONE 🏆 🥳

*CHARITY FUNDRAISING*
Today one of our U14/15 players, Tyler swapped his football boots for his walking boots… setting off at 4am, Tyler and the amazing March for Maddie team started 35 gruelling miles from Oldham Athletic Football Club to Whiston Hospital.

Raising funds for 2 amazing charities in his baby cousins memory MARCH FOR MADDIE 🩷 helping support two incredible services that care for families during some of the hardest moments imaginable.

The bereavement midwifery team at Whiston Hospital provide compassionate care to parents whose babies are born sleeping. The funds raised from this year’s walk will help towards soundproofing the bereavement rooms, so grieving parents are protected from hearing the sounds of the delivery suite around them — something no family should have to endure while saying goodbye to their baby.

Also raising money for Christie’s Oldham, whose support helps provide equipment like mobility aids and additional comforts for patients receiving cancer care.

What an unforgettable evening for everyone at Sublime Athletic.

Last night, we had the honour of being specially invited to the Mayor’s Parlour by Chadderton Together for the Community Champion Awards.

After receiving over 50 nominations from local people and community members, we were incredibly proud and humbled to be selected as winners alongside 5 other amazing groups who do so much for our local area.

To then be presented with a Community Champion Award by the Mayor of Oldham Eddie Moores, was a truly special moment for our club 🎖️

This award is not just about football and netball, it recognises the hard work, dedication and positive impact that our coaches, volunteers, parents, players and supporters put into the club every single week. From training sessions in all weather, supporting personal development and confidence, creating opportunities, building friendships and giving people a safe and positive environment to grow both on and off the pitch… this is what our club is all about.

We are passionate about being more than just a football club. We aim to create a family environment where every person feels included, supported and encouraged to be the best version of themselves. Seeing the community recognise that means absolutely everything to us.

A huge thank you to everyone who nominated us, supports us, volunteers their time and continues to believe in what we are building together. This achievement belongs to every single person involved with Sublime Athletic 💚🖤

The future is bright, and we cannot wait to continue growing, supporting our community and making more memories together ⚽️🏆
