Hey folks,

I’m holding an online nutrition workshop next Tuesday.

It will cover general nutrition guidance to support health and well-being but will also get personal for you. Nutrition for fat loss, nutrition for muscle gain, how to support your training, PCOS recommendations and more.

There will be a Q&A and will be very interactive so that everybody gets a chance to ask their questions and leave feeling more confident and knowledgeable about nutrition.

Folks,

Most of you should know by now how passionate I am about lifting weights to help keep me strong and make me harder to kill (although my jiujitsu buddies had a bloody good go this morning). 😰

So I’ve created a new programme which will run for 8 weeks. It’s for novice / beginner / clueless people who want to see progress in their strength and feel more confident and comfortable in the gym. When I say clueless I’m talking about the people who go to the gym and maybe just stick to cardio machines and a few cable kickbacks because they don’t really know what to do. There’s no shame in admitting to being clueless. We all start somewhere. 😀

We will cover…
🔸 how to lift
🔸 progressive overload
🔸 how to structure your sessions
🔸 mobility/stretching/warm ups
🔸 body mechanics
🔸 and more

There will be video demos and I will expect videos of you training so that I can critique and advise as we go.

You will have 1:1 daily access to me for 8 weeks to ensure you know exactly what you’re doing. I want you to finish this programme feeling more confident and with the knowledge you need to go and progress on your own. Know what to do and why you’re doing it. Know which exercises work for your body and how to perform them with great technique.

These will be fun, interactive workshops to help you understand nutrition better to help you lead a healthier lifestyle without restriction.

One of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves is to learn to listen to our bodies and trust what it’s telling us.

Despite what you might read/hear elsewhere, you don’t need to starve yourself or avoid carbs or stop eating after 8pm.

Your body isn’t the problem, it’s the beliefs that were created from diet culture and anti fat bias that are the issue.

Your body will tell you when you’re hungry, so you eat. You do not need to ignore hunger.

Your body will tell you when you’re thirsty, so you drink.

Learn to nourish your body so that you feel good and satisfied. It doesn’t need to be about calorie counting and scale weight.

Losing weight is a choice but it’s not always a necessity. We often just want it because society tells us we need to be smaller. We do not need to be smaller. Yes you can want to lose weight, that’s your choice. Just ask yourself questions as to why you want it, hopefully it’s for the right reasons and not due to unhealthy thoughts about yourself or your body.

Your body is amazing and can do amazing things. Learn to listen to it, trust it, understand it, respect it, be kind to it.

The best relationship you can have is with yourself. 🙌🏾
