How many times have you cancelled your night out with the girls because you feel awful in everything that you wear?
You buy lots of different options all with the same brief:
It must cover your arms and legs.
✅ Floor length long sleeve dresses
✅ Long sleeve jumpsuits
✅ Wide leg trousers and and long sleeve bodysuit
Despite your best efforts and careful selection
Nothing works.
Everything is too tight but too baggy at the same time.
It’s impossible.
So cancel the plans, pour yourself a glass of wine and stick on netflix.
Tell your friends that you have a horrible headache and you need to sleep it off, they’ll understand.
I’ve been there.
Most of my clients have been there.
As soon as an event is planned you have this dread rather than excitement.
Trying to dress this body that is so far outside the societal standard is an actual nightmare.
So how did my client manage to get past the clothing drama and feel nice, confident and fit?
We have worked on her relationship with her body by learning to appreciate everything that it does for her.
She’s able to work out and go to the gym, she’s able to do fun hikes, she’s able to swim, she’s able to dance about at karaoke with her friends.
We’ve worked on her relationship with food.
No more super restrictive diets where the only goal is weight loss.
She’s learnt the value in eating to feel good, eating to feel energised, eating in a way that keeps her full even though she’s in an active fat loss phase (yes, this is possible!).
All while improving her lipoedema symptoms (the swelling, the pain, the heaviness) through diet, exercise and weight loss.
If you feel like you’ve tried everything, but your lipoedema is taking over your life
I promise you that there is hope.
You too can go from cancelling girls night to feeling hot af.
You just need my lipoedema specific strategy to help you.
I have spaces for 1-1 online lipoedema specific coaching, so if you want more details
DM me the word ‘LIPPY’ and I’ll give you the info 💕
