🏌️‍♂️ A Huge Weekend Ahead at Okehampton Golf Club! 🏌️‍♀️

There’s plenty to look forward to at this weekend, with some fantastic golf and team action taking place.

🏆 Club Championship Finals Day – Saturday
Following an exciting opening weekend, the remaining competitors will battle it out for the title of 2026 Club Champion on Saturday. We’d love to see plenty of support around the 18th green as we find out who will be crowned this year’s champions.

⛳ Still Cup Team – Saturday, 12:30pm
After a fantastic draw away at Torquay GC, our Still Cup Team returns home looking to build on that performance as they take on Torquay in the return fixture. First tee at 12:30pm – come along and cheer the team on!

🏌️ Dartmoor League – Sunday
Fresh from an impressive draw at Dartmouth last weekend, our Dartmoor League team are back in action at home on Sunday against Tavistock. Another great opportunity to support the club and enjoy some competitive golf.

👏 Best of luck to everyone competing this weekend, whether you’re chasing silverware in the Club Championship or representing the club in the Still Cup and Dartmoor League.

🏌️ Team Golf @ Okehampton GC 🏌️

Another busy and successful week for our representative teams!

Palairet Team
A superb performance from the Okehampton Palairet Team at Dawlish Warren against Axe Cliff saw them secure an impressive 4–1 victory, with 3 wins and 2 halves, earning their place in the next round. Congratulations to all involved on a fantastic result!

Still Cup Team
The Okehampton Still Cup Team travelled to Torquay Golf Club and battled hard to earn a halved match. Achieving a result away from home on such a challenging course is a tremendous effort and keeps the team moving forward with confidence.

Parker Trophy Team
The Parker Trophy Team faced a strong Staddon Heights side at Tavistock. While the result ended in a narrow 2–1 defeat, every match was closely contested and could easily have gone either way. A spirited performance from the team throughout.

Looking Ahead
The fixtures continue to come thick and fast!

⛳ The Dartmoor League Team returns on Sunday for a challenging away match against Dartmouth.

A huge congratulations to the Presidents Team on their fantastic 5–2 victory on Monday — a brilliant result and a great start to the week.

The Okehampton Golf Club Palairet Team gets its season underway this Sunday as they take on Axe Cliff Golf Club at The Warren Golf Club, Dawlish, with a 1pm tee-off.

Captained by Jonny Rattenbury, the team is ready to start the campaign in style. We wish Jonny and the squad the very best of luck for the match – the team line-up is listed below.

⛳️ Junior Golf is Back at Okehampton Golf Club! ⛳️

What a fantastic afternoon we had recently as junior golf returned to Okehampton Golf Club in glorious sunshine! ☀️

Six juniors took to the course for a fun five-hole Greensomes competition, partnering with adult members (with Josh and Charlie forming a junior-only team). After a closely fought contest, Josh and Charlie came out on top, narrowly beating Luke and Matt on countback, with Dan and Joey finishing third.

The next junior event takes place today at 2pm, with another exciting team competition over five holes as we continue building a thriving junior section at the club.
