The Pump and Pedal is a Pub and Bike Shop set on the fringes of the Dartmoor National Park. Championing Local producers from across Devon, The Pump and Pedal is an ideal stopping place for cyclists, walkers and anyone passing on the A30. Situated on the Lands End - John O'Groats and Devon Coast to Coast cycle routes, our team of highly skilled in house cycle mechanics from Okehampton Cycles, are ready to help you fix any problems you may have as well as having a wide range of new bikes for sale.

🎶 A Huge Thank You to HORIZONZ! 🎶

A massive thank you to HORIZONZ for a fantastic performance at Pump & Pedal last night. Although the weather had other ideas, moving the gig indoors created a brilliant atmosphere, and the band put on an incredible show from start to finish.

We've had some lovely feedback from customers, and it was great to see so many people enjoying the evening. Thank you to everyone who came along, supported live music, and helped make it such a memorable night.

We hope to welcome HORIZONZ back again in the future!

The rain has made the decision for us, so HORIZONZ are setting up indoors at Pump & Pedal!

We've rearranged the café and bike shop to make plenty of space, and we're all set to kick off the Bank Holiday weekend with fantastic live music. We can't wait for HORIZONZ to fill Pump & Pedal with their incredible sound! 🎸

The forecast is looking promising, so we're hoping for a great evening in the b**r garden. If the forecasters get it wrong, don't worry – we'll simply clear our bike display area and bring the music indoors, so the evening will go ahead whatever the weather!

We're looking for a great act to perform in our b**r garden over the Bank Holiday weekend and we'd love to hear from you!

We're looking for an evening performance on one of the following dates:

A massive thank you to The 3rd Wheel for another brilliant evening of live acoustic music — you were fantastic! 🎸👏

And of course, a huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the evening. It was lovely to see the b**r garden filled with friends, families and music lovers enjoying the sunshine, good food, drinks and great tunes. ☀️🍕🍺

We’re looking for a couple of reliable, enthusiastic people to join our café team, with weekend availability essential.

Experience is welcome but not essential — full training will be provided. We’re mainly looking for people who are hard-working, friendly and comfortable working in a busy café environment.
