Birthdays as you get older become less about the presents and cake and more about spending time with the people you love & cherishing the simple things in life

This year has been really good to me

I have my health, my family & friends have their health & I am happy & content in life

That’s all that really matters

I know not every year is going to look like that so I am thankful that this year has been kind to me 🤞 that’s the best gift of all 💛

I’m still teaching it & yes it’s still just as effective as on the Reformer!

I would love to build this class back up as I’m not sure if everyone is hiding away but it seems to be quiet at the moment (where are you all hiding?)
Is it because I keep making you do hundreds?👀

“I’ve really let myself go.”

That’s what a new client told me recently.

Not because she’d stopped caring.
Not because she was lazy.
Not because she lacked willpower.

Life happened.

A few difficult years.
Struggles with mental health.
Loss of confidence.
Putting everyone and everything else first.

She used to love movement. She felt strong, capable and connected to her body.

Now, approaching 50, she felt like she’d reached a crossroads

She wanted to lose weight, get stronger, feel fitter and healthier. But more than that, she wanted to feel like herself again.

The hardest part?

Not the workouts.
Not changing her habits.
Not learning something new.

The hardest part was reaching out and asking for help.

If you’ve been telling yourself it’s “too late”, that you’ve left it too long, or that you need to get fitter before you start…

You don’t.

You just need to take the first step & join us 🤗

2nd Women Overall 🏆😍

Another fun one at Bude Lifeboat run last night 🥰

Set off with absolutely zero expectations as Im not keen on evening racing but decided to go full send anyway🤪

It’s crazy to me how after a huge setback last year with illness & then deciding to just focus on strength and resistance training for most of the year, my fitness this year has come back stronger & I’ve hit multiple PB’s just in the last few months

In the time that I took off running last year , I did Reformer Pilates multiple times a week & resistance trained & my main goal was to get my body stronger & well rested/calm my nervous system 😅

& it’s really time well spent 😊

I was so inspired last night by watching all the runners come in, one reason I sign up to these races is to be inspired. It’s pretty cool to see how many people will push theirselves on a random Wednesday evening to have that accomplishment & we all run for totally different reasons 🤞

If you’re ever lacking in motivation then go along and spectate a competition or event & you’ll go home and start packing your gym bag for the next day I promise 👀

Next plan of action is to wash the trainers & keep pushing on with my training for the Dartmoor Classic 💪🏼

THANKYOU 🥰

Happy 1 year anniversary to my Reformer cabin 😍

What an incredible year it’s been and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to open this space and share Pilates with so many wonderful people!

To think that I started last year, having no idea that this would be the path is crazy to me

But we made it 1 year yay!

On reflection, i just want to say thank you to everyone who supports me, comes to classes, tells their friends, shares my posts and just generally keeps this business in business! It means the world to me

With so many different options becoming available, it makes me feel so lucky & grateful to everyone who chooses to come and move with me!!

I hope that my studio has given you lots of happiness, connection, community and confidence in your abilities 🩷 that’s what it’s all about for me xx
