ith Health Fitness Education (HFE) in April 2017. Prior to this I was in the forces and served as a Police Constable for over 10 years. Fitness and exercise has always been a passion of mine, with my qualifications I can now share my passion and skills with you. This includes nutritionally as well as through exercise and fitness. I understand the demands that we all face daily in our personal lives, be it a busy full time mum/dad, or a workaholic. The demands of everyday living, that being putting money in the bank and food on the table, can often lead us to neglect ourselves and our own wellbeing. My focus is always on balance. Balancing work and living to ensure that we are the happiest and healthiest version of ourselves that we can be. I am a personal trainer because I believe that everyone can be healthy and happy and achieve their own personal goals. My aim and focus is to assist individuals in realising their potential and that anything is possible if they are willing to trust in me and work with me. Do you have a fitness goal that you have always wanted to achieve? Run a 5 km, 10 km, half Marathon for example or walk around the village without being out of breath. Wear a swimming suit on holiday without feeling like everyone is looking at you (they are unlikely to be, but it doesn’t alleviate your fear of it, I know). My own fitness journey is always adapting and I like to set myself new challenges. Prior to having children, I hated running. I now have the running bug and I have completed several half marathons. My challenge this year is to try and complete the 13.2 miles in under 2 hours. This is something I never dreamed would be possible. I now know I will achieve my goal, it is just a matter of when. The fear of the failure and the unknown are often the biggest hurdles for us to make a change. I promise to help and guide you through this process.
