🏒🫍THE ORCAS HAVE THEIR JERSEYS! 🫍🏒

Our long-awaited club jerseys have arrived, and of course we couldn’t just hand them out… our players had to get the full draft experience! 📸🏒

It was brilliant to finally see everyone wearing the Orcas colours on the rink, and it couldn’t have happened on a better day. We had a fantastic training session with plenty of spectators watching from the window.

Seeing everyone out there in their new jerseys made the session feel less like training and much more like a real game. It was another one of those moments where we could see just how far our little club has come.

A huge part of that journey has been the support we’ve received from Oban Distribution Services and Cirrom. We are incredibly grateful to have two local businesses supporting the Oban Orcas and helping us continue to grow and develop the club. Thank you for believing in what we’re building and for being part of the Orcas family!

We start to look like a proper hockey team! 🫍🏒

Unfortunately, today is the day we have to say goodbye to one of our player-coaches.

Next week, Cameron and his fiancée are moving to the Glasgow area. While Cameron will thankfully continue to support the club during league games whenever he can, he won’t be able to attend our weekly training sessions.

We happy to send him off with an Award for his contribution and an afternoon at Wetherspoon.

We’d like to say a heartfelt thank you. Thank you for helping to build this club from the ground up, for the countless hours you’ve spent training, coaching, and always lending a hand wherever it was needed. Your contribution to the Oban Orcas has been invaluable, and you will be greatly missed.

From everyone at the Oban Orcas, we wish you both all the very best for this exciting new chapter. We hope you’ll be incredibly happy in the Central Belt.
