Withcote Lodge Equestrian A family run farm in the heart of Cottesmore hunting country, near Oakham. Boasting extensive facilit We have 26 boxes. They are topped with sand and fibre.

On the yard, we have a variety of horses from pre-training of racehorses, point-to-pointers, breakers, re-schooling, producing of young horses, rehabilitation and hunter liveries. Our extensive facilities include: 5 furlong circular gallops, horse walker, indoor loose school, large outdoor ménage with show jumps and mirrors, 4 furlong grass gallops, schooling fences, quiet country roads, ample off

-road hacking, solarium and hot water washing facilities. Our gallops are 5 furlongs circular with an uphill pull on each rein, complete with a turning circle. Basic charge for use: £20 per horse

Regular use / multiple horses: Ring for tailor made deals to suit your needs. Fences also available upon request: ring for details and availability. Plenty of secure parking space available on hard standing.

Full-Time Equestrian Groom – Position Available

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and experienced Groom to join our friendly team at Withcote Lodge Equestrian, based near Oakham, LE15 8DS.

Job Role:
• Full-time position (5 days per week, including a weekend day on a rota)
• General yard duties: mucking out, feeding, turning out/in, grooming, and tack cleaning
• Exercising and lunging horses if competent (optional, depending on experience)
• Preparing horses to be ridden, for hunting, or competitions
• Maintaining a high standard of horse care and yard cleanliness at all times

Requirements:
• Previous experience working with horses in a professional environment
• Confident handling fit hunters and youngsters
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine love of horses
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Own transport preferred due to rural location
