Whenever I’m in Norfolk, I always take a drive to Mundesley to leave some flowers for Grandma. It’s a tradition we’ve had with the children since she passed away.

What an unforgettable evening with

Standing on that stage and sharing my story was one of the most vulnerable things I’ve ever done. For so long, I’ve been known for helping businesses grow, but this week I shared my journey that shaped the person behind the business.

I spoke about resilience, identity, disability, family, and the strength of having a tribe around you when life takes an unexpected turn.

The conversations afterwards, the hugs, the tears, and the stories so many of you shared with me reminded me why telling our stories matters.

I’m leaving this week with a full heart and a renewed sense of purpose. I know this is just the beginning of a new chapter for me.

Thank you to everyone who came, listened, supported and reminded me that vulnerability really is a strength.

This morning, we dropped our son at Heathrow.

One rucksack. One passport. A flight to Chicago. And a whole summer of adventure ahead.

As parents, we spend years teaching our children to spread their wings. Yet when the moment finally arrives, it’s a strange mix of pride, excitement and a little sadness as you watch them step into the world on their own.

The little boy who once needed us for everything is now boarding a plane to another continent, ready to make new friends, embrace new experiences and create memories that will stay with him for life.

Growth rarely happens inside our comfort zone. It happens when we say yes to opportunities, take brave steps into the unknown and trust ourselves to figure things out along the way.

This summer is his adventure.

Chicago, Camp America and a summer of possibilities await. ✈️🇺🇸

Sometimes freedom looks less like “escaping” and more like slowing down enough to remember what matters.

Fresh air, muddy boots, quiet moments and space to think clearly again.
