Steve and Pete enoyed their weekend fishing Nursling on Saturday, staying overnight at Testwood, and fishing Testwood Pool on Sunday. Here's Steve with a grayling just shy of the magic 2lb mark from Nursling, and quality roach and chub from Testwood. Great to see you again fellas and hope you'll join us again soon...

Had a great day on Nursling yesterday guiding some regular customers to catch a hatful of fish, including plenty of grayling to just under 2lbs, and some other quality coarse fish including some lovely chub and dace. All were caught on sweetcorn or bread hookbaits with the application of small amounts of groundbait.

I also had a fascinating chat with Dom, an extremely knowledgeable EA officer, about the salmon counter that's on the Nursling beat. The picture shows the equipment installed to count the fish that are running up and down the river.
