Our final game of the season, and one weโd all been looking forward to, delivered everything we hoped for. Nuneaton v Keresley, with old teammates facing each other on opposite sides, sunshine overhead, and a brilliant atmosphere around the ground.
Keresley hosted superbly, with great entertainment, good food and drink, and a backdrop of important promotion battles across the club.
The game started with real intensity, Keresley striking first before the Nuns hit back with a converted score. That set the tone for a fierce first half: big tackles, hard running, and endโtoโend rugby in the heat. Keresley edged the lead at the break, but it was still all to play for.
The second half continued in the same vein, both sides trading blows and defending with real commitment. But in the final 15 minutes, the Nuns found another gear. Through relentless teamwork and some outstanding individual moments, Nuneaton pulled away to secure a 39โ57 win.
That result confirms ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป. A fantastic achievement, well done lads ๐ดโช๏ธโซ๏ธ
