The welfare of the fish is and has to be paramount at Upton, there are rules in place to take care of ALL fish and there are rules in place to promote this…. Always use landing nets, You must use an unhooking mat and never stand holding a fish! If they flap around it’s easy to drop them which is highly likely you will damage their swim bladders and the fish will die! I will not post any pictures of people standing holding fish please keep the fish as close to the floor as possible to prevent any injuries to the fish.

We noticed the aerator was not flowing like it should be so Paul and Theon and myself sprung into action and pulled it out gave in a jet wash and detangled loads of line from it and bobs your uncle! Some emergency lake maintenance to ensure there is enough air going into the water.
