A team of Attleborough Sports Cricket Club faithfuls are taking on the challenge of walking 50 miles in under 24 hours, raising money for both our community sports club as well as our chosen charities, Prostate Cancer UK and Lymphoma Action.
The walk will take place overnight on 18th - 19th September 2026, with the circular route currently being drawn up but certain to begin and end at our beautiful ground. The celebrations at the finish line are also being planned - keep your eyes peeled as we update this page with details of both!
Attleborough Sports Cricket Club is a community sports club based in the heart of Attleborough. Our amazing growth over recent years has us currently fielding three Saturday mens sides, two Thursday mens sides, our No Balls ladies team, and a thriving youth section including hardball U14s and U11s, and the ECB softball programmes for Dynamos and Allstars.
We pride ourselves on being a local, inclusive club offering the opportunity to play cricket to all. To continue to grow and support our flourishing club we need to keep investing in our facilities and infrastructure. We would like to further improve our beautiful ground, as well as invest in additional training facilities and equipment to support all our teams.
We also want to take the opportunity to raise money for our two chosen charities this season, Lymphoma Action and Prostate Cancer UK. These important charities are close to our heart as a club, and we are pleased to be able to give back by sharing all profits from our fundraising, meaning 50% of profits from this fundraiser will go to the club, and the remaining 50% split equally between Lymphoma Action and Prostate Cancer UK.
If you feel able then we would be so very grateful for any donations you can spare. Please also keep an eye on the page and come and support us during the event, or at the after party!
Thank you for reading, and for supporting our club.
