2 fine performances for the U13s sides this weekend!

Boro running out winners against a strong MJPL side in Wyley Vipers and The Jays overcoming Chetwynd.

Really pleasing performances across both teams, with players stepping up for both sides to play in different positions and do a job and stick to task.

Boro

Oscar, his best game for us, bossed the middle of the park with some great tackles to win us the ball back and didn’t stop running all game.

Jays

Olly, 

Clean sheet in the first half, perfect Hat-trick in the second.

What was on show in both games was the teamwork and attitude, it felt like on both days the lads not only were sporting their jobs on the pitch but also played with smiles and enjoyed a good weekend of games.

Not football related at all, but the below is doing the rounds on social media. I don’t know what cock-womble would spend thier time trying to divide schools against one and other.

Please make sure you know where you lads are when they are out. We will speak to the lads tonight in training about not being involved etc.

Any talk of this between the lads will be shut down quickly and firmly.

Finally back to action after nearly 2 months with no football and the boys couldn’t have put in a better performance.

Goal today

 a few standout performances including a solid performance in gold by Lucas making some incredible saves in the first half  particularly
His distribution kicking throwing was on point today.
Olly was also incredible today worked so hard upfront and got the reward bagging two goals.
🏆But Man of the match had to be Blake today, a complete midfield performance today!
