On Tuesday 19th December Beeston Tetsudo Club held there final lessons of the year, This occasion was marked with the Beeston Club Student of the Year Award.
This award went to Dave Armstrong in recognition of his support and commitment to his training. David is always willing to help guide and support our members.
On behalf of all the club members we wished him many congratulations.

Annual Address from B.S. Dhaliwal.

As one year reaches its twilight and the dawn of another is tiptoeing into our lives, let us step forward to greet it with the doors of opportunity and adventure fully open in our minds.

A New Year is a milestone in the 'Continuum of Time'. It provides for us an opportunity to stop, pause, reflect and re-establish priorities, to break out towards new horizons, set new goals and reach for another rung up the ladder.

2023 has been the first 'proper' year after the trauma of the Covid lock-down years and much has been achieved by our fantastic Instructor Group. 3 new clubs have been opened and established this year and existing classes have seen member numbers rise to pre-Covid levels. The Association Calendar of 2023 has been full with Special Courses, Gradings, Hucklow Training Camp and the Association will be providing another full list of Events for 2024 offering all students an opportunity to engage in specialist dimensions of the Art Form and to meet and train with other colleagues from all over the country.

It is my personal mission in 2024 to visit every club in the Association and I look forward to meeting you and training with you all.

From myself and Masters Trevor Brindley, Martin Sharratt, Bal Singh and Michael Newton we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful, happy Year ahead.

Last Friday, we honored Master B.S. Dhaliwal by presenting him with a book filled with heartfelt tributes from our blackbelt ranks.

This special gesture acknowledged and celebrated Master Dhaliwal's unwavering dedication to teaching and promoting the Art Form over 57 remarkable years. His tireless commitment has touched the lives of over 75,000 students, and we deeply appreciate the enduring impact he has made on us all.

As the sole student of Maha Ustad Tambo Tetsura and custodian of our Art Form, Master Dhaliwal has borne the immense responsibility of spreading Maha Ustad Tetsura’s legacy. He continues to actively lead blackbelt classes and engage with students in local clubs.

Following this touching tribute, we gathered for the Blackbelt Xmas meal, a joyful occasion where Blackbelts from across the country united to celebrate another successful year.
