This challenge I hoped I’d never have to put together …

Running 210 miles for my nephew.
Why? He took his life just before Christmas.
The charity - “Young Minds”
When? July 1st 2022

I’m no stranger to extreme challenges and this one will test me physically of course, this kind of pain I’ve learned to remove but the emotional piece of this will test me like no other .

Along with your support for my chosen charity I will also be calling upon folk to help over the two 105 mile loops to help support between the 1st and 3rd of July .

Donations have been coming in nicely so thank you to those that have done so already .

Robin Hood ultra. What a race!!!
100 miles plus a little more with getting lost 😂

Joel Payne and I again had the pleasure of guide running our good friend Nick.

As to be expected during an ultra marathon we did have our share of ups and downs.
The sun was beating down on us and some of the terrain was very challenging for guiding.
Joel Payne did an amazing job motivating us and this was actually his first ultra distance. He gave up his time and energy to support his friend and a good cause.

What motivates and amazes me still is my mate Nick.
How he keeps going through these brutal races is incredible. Admittedly I had a couple of wobbles during the race but Nicks spirit and grit kept me going . The man is a warrior , an inspiration and a good friend.

Always an honour to be his eyes during these races.
