It’s AGM time! On March 28th in A42 (Sir Clive Granger Building), we will host elections for next year’s committee.

If you are interested in running for committee next year, there is a sign up form in our bio and group chat.

If you’re not running, still come to hang out, eat pizza and most importantly to vote!

If you did want to apply for committee but can’t make it to the AGM, still apply, its possible to send in a video submission.

The World Series of Poker of Skydiving (WSOPOS) main event is happening 7 pm, Monica Partridge D06 on Tuesday 4th November!!! 🃏

Come along & play/learn poker with us, or play other chill card or board games if poker isn’t your thing! No experience is required and it’s a low pressure way to try poker. There will be excitement, there will be tension, there will be twists, turns and heartbreaks aplenty.

Buy-in to the main poker tournament is £2 or a bag of sweets.

Meet other people who skydive and are learning to skydive from universities all around the UK.

Tickets are free for unlicensed skydivers and £12.50 for non-BUS-member licensed skydivers, link in bio.

At Discobowl Nottingham at 7pm on Tuesday the 7th of October.

Perfect for if you want to get a head start on learning to skydive or if you want to hone your flying skills.
Tunnel coaching is 1/4 the price per minute of one-on-one coaching in the sky and 1/8 the price of 4-way FS in the sky once you’re signed off.
Tunnel also allows for quicker progression than in the sky, with someone being able to practice many times more free-fall in the tunnel than in the sky on a given day.
