University of Nottingham Women's Rugby Club Welcome to UoNWRFC! We are an inclusive rugby club for ALL abilities. Drop us a message for any queries and give us a like to keep up to date!��

We are a friendly, lively, and growing club who welcome all abilities, from complete beginners to international players! We have two teams that compete in BUCS Wednesdays against other Midlands universities. Training is three times per week during term time at David Ross Sports Village. Monday 7-8:30am, Tuesday 4:00-5:30pm, Friday 5-6:30pm. Most importantly, we are a family and support each other

on and off the pitch. Welfare is paramount and we boast a thriving social life with regular nights out and sober socials.

Our May BRICK member of the month!🧱✨
… ._.17 ⚡️

As a 1st year Zara has made a huge impact on our club and 1XV this season through her commitment, resilience and dedication.
Throughout the season Zara embraced new challenges as she adapted to 15s and even stepped into a different position for our playoff match with the best mindset and attitude!
After surgery just before our 7s season started, Zara was unable to train which was huge shame due to her background playing and captaining the UAE 7s team🇦🇪
Zara stayed committed and took on a coaching role, supporting the delivery of our 7s program helping players from all levels of the club improve their confidence and ability.
Zara was able to return for our BUCS 7s tournament where she played a key role in the teams success in winning the championship plate 🍽️

Zara has demonstrated outstanding commitment to the development of herself and the club, showing our BRICK values especially in May!

Delph brings positivity, encouragement and energy to the club environment!
As 2XV captain this season she has made players feel supported and valued whether that’s on pitch or at training. Delphi is a joy to be around and has gone out of her way to support and help develop players in her own team as well as our 3XV!

Delphi really embodies our BRICK values and supported the club through one of our busiest months, helping other members of leadership with all of our March events !💛

University Rugby Awards 2026🌹

The awards celebrate University students, staff and volunteers who keep the English university rugby game thriving!
We are very proud of our two winners Tim and Char🏆

Tim is our Head coach and a very special person. UoNWRFC’s success this season is a testament to all his hard work and the environment he’s worked tirelessly to create and sustain.

Char has been a key 1xv player for the past 3 years and this year has been Rugby Minds Ambassador. Rugby Minds is a campaign created to tackle difficult topics and to improve culture of student rugby. Char has worked hard to make rugby at UoN a better place and always finds a way to make everyone feel included.
