CLUB STATEMENT
Many of you will be aware of the appalling behaviour of a youth coach at Crew Alexandra FC which is being highlighted by the media at the moment.
I think it's very important that children and parents have the upmost trust in the club they attend and the coaches who are trusted with their care whilst playing the sport. I would like to give you my assurances as club welfare officer that, No child will be left alone, taken to a room alone or driven home or to a match alone with Any Club Staff. All coaches hold up to date DBS clearence certificates and never run training sessions without another coach, parent, carer being close by. The club will always be vigilant where child welfare is concerned. My door is always open if you have any concerns.
I always say, "if you have a feeling something is wrong, as a parent, you are normally right so report it". Our club has had it's whole 20 years running incident free but we will never drop our guard when it comes to your children.
Thank you for your continued support.
