'The One With Boundless Gratitude'

We've raised over £2.4K so far for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People with your amazing efforts and generous donations - this community really is an incredible force for good in the world. 🖤

Massive congrats to Emma Heasman for rocking strong for 25 classes and earning a purple badge this evening! Badass Quasi-Centurion, you! 💪

And I hear when people have had a really crappy day and still show up to class ready to rock and rage about it with us for a brief while - it's really wonderful how you all keep showing up for yourselves and each other, and that you choose to spend your evenings with us having a sweaty, flaily laugh together.

Small acts of kindness add up to make waves on the tides of our lives, 🌊 and none of us are doing this alone.

Feeling very contemplative right now, following my 3rd anniversary of qualifying as a RockFit instructor. I've learned so much since embarking on this journey, and right at the top of that is to constantly live in gratitude.

🤘 I am grateful for my friends, who are also my family. They are kind, generous and empathic people and they make the world a better place by the ways that they choose to move through it.

🤘 I am grateful for a loving partner who supports all my adventures with enthusiasm and generosity of spirit. Laughter, comfort and peace are my daily routine because of her.

🤘 I am grateful for my body, which does the hard yards to take my mind where it wants to go. It knows no quit, and never holds me back.

🤘 I am grateful to the RockFit community for providing a template to carve our own niche in this world; one that rejects fear, hate and despair and promotes hope, opportunity and genuine human connection.

These are the good times.

Let's enjoy the 'good old days' whilst we're still living them. 🖤

Whilst not an official RAGE class this evening, there was still plenty of steam to be let off this fine bank holiday Monday.

Loads of feel-good catharsis to be had to the soundtrack of classics, new and old.

Like a moth to the flame we are driven to flail energetically to epic tunes...

A HUGE Thursday Night Thrasher Sherwoody welcome to Katie for her first class! 🤘 Awesome vibes on day 1!

We did our first row pit together today! And successfully stood up again - Hells yeah! 😎

Maz slammed her 50th class and earned her gold badge today - a huge achievement, and well-deserved! Always one to bring laughter and a sense of fun to class - Epic stuff! 🖤

As I type this the biggest metal concert in the clouds is currently taking place! ⛈️ ⚡

And HOW ABOUT that Dolly Parton x Mötley Crüe collab to see us off home at the end??? The harmonies are so beautiful! 😭

'The One With More Scoops and Whips Than the Local Ice Cream Truck' 🍦

Dolly Parton and Tim Curry were both beloved icons who taught generations of uniquely beautiful souls how to be boldly, unapologetically, recklessly different.

Tonight we channelled our own unique recklessness into tonight's wild helping of variously-coordinated shenanigans (went deep into improv mode on Black Hole, weeee! 🤣)

And Chloë brought ice lollies again! 🖤 Much appreciated after this hecka humid class. 🙏

And yes, we did double STICK again, because the referendum said so...😅

Rock'n'Ride! 🤘🐎

Our local RockFit family saddling up in honour of Chloë's birthday and having just the best time out basking in the sunshine, surrounded by lush Nottinghamshire countryside and making some new four-legged friends. (My horse was called Simba!) 😍

The wonderful memories we've made together as a group just keep stacking up and are simply the most lovely, life-affirming thing!

Afterwards, went to the gorgeous, historic Bestwood Lodge and devoured a delicious Sunday roast and a frosty cider. 😋

Couldn't not share the love! 🖤
