Team Wales - Welsh Women's National Ice Hockey History & information about Team Wales - Welsh Women's National Ice Hockey 2001 to 2007 Team Wales is in mothballs for the foreseeable future.

Originally formed in 2001, played matches against England, Scotland, Northern Conference & Alberta Selects. The Welsh National Team 'punched above its weight' with team selected from less than 30 eligible players in the UK. Wales produced the best UK (including Team GB) result against the visiting Alberta Selects teams. The doubters were silenced with victory's over England, Scotland & the Northern Conference. The pool of eligible players ran out & the last match was played in 2006.
