What a super final.day of competing yesterday at the IUKL European Championships.

First up was Janet Scott on 8kg Military Sn**ch with 169 reps and a silver medal 🥈.Cool, calm and collected, she executed the plan perfectly.

Next was Cynthia Chang on 16kg Military Sn**ch with 227 reps. This was a really hot battle with Debbie Moulton for a placing and I'm so proud of Cynthia taking the bronze 🥉 with only 8 reps to separate them.

Then Jamie Hawthorne was up on the 24kg Military Sn**ch. A really gutsy performance from Jamie taking the silver 🥈 medal.

All 6 Tonics medalled at this competition, and I really couldn't have asked for more as their coach. They gave everything they had in that moment on the platform.

Next stop...... Edinburgh

Me Jude Freeman 367 reps on 12kg OALC HM GOLD 🥇

Richard Freeman 401 reps on 16kg OALC HM GOLD 🥇

Great result for Richard Freeman yesterday in his 16kg OAJ HM with 534 reps and a gold medal 🥇

Stu-pot Tracey 24kg OALC HM at 4pm

Me Jude Freeman 12kg OALC HM at 5.20pm
and
Rich 16kg OALC HM at 6pm

A few pics from last week's Grassroots competition in Nottingham. We had such a blast with 25 athletes competing, many for the first time.
From Darlington to Kent and Junior to Senior in age, Grassroots is how we grow the sport and keep the spirit alive.

Many thanks to Del Wilson for taking such fabulous pics and to my wonderfully supportive husband Richard for being the mic maestro and chief baker. A shout out also goes to Josh Neal who stepped in to do the scoring.

Grassroots Kettlebell League

Kettlebell Sport......what's it all about?
Well it could be described as an "endurance weightlifting sport", but somehow that doesn't seem to do it justice or describe what we do!

But you can come and see for yourself this Sunday 26th April. I'm hosting a Grassroots competition where everyone from beginners right up to Team England level athletes from all over the UK will be on the platform.

Find us at the Hall at James Church, Marshall Hill Drive, Mapperley, Nottingham. Lifting starts at 10am, and finishes at 1pm.
Come along and watch - it's free entry !
