Our team of intrepid cyclists are challenging themselves to another 100 Mile Bike Ride to raise money for Beaumond House Hospice Care in Newark

The team will visit East Retford Rugby Union Football Club and Keyworth Rugby Football Club in two loops each starting and finishing at our Clubhouse

Bev Hendley will be joining the riders for part of the event as a thanks for all the support they gave to former Southwell stalwart Jon Hendley

The event takes place on Sunday 7th May and all donations would be gratefully welcomed, BH like all organisations have seen costs rising and they rely on donations to keep up their great work

MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT

The Southwell Bandits are back in action on Saturday against Keyworth Rugby Football Club 2s at Park Lane. The kick-off time is slightly earlier at 2:30pm

A packed house expected with this being the only home fixture of the day (the Colts are away at Boston RFC in the morning)

There will be other top class action on the big screens as the 6 Nations kicks off with Wales vs Ireland (2:15pm) and England vs Scotland (4:45pm) - come down and get involved

Something a little different tomorrow night as have accepted an invitation for a night of lawn green bowls at Wymeswold Bowling Club.

£5 per head with a buffet and beer being provided. All players, Club members and family and friends all welcome.

The final game of our season last night and again came agonisingly close to beating a side much higher up the rugby pyramid but after holding the lead for periods of the game fell just short.

All in all a fantastic performance from the whole squad and some huge positives to take out of the last 5 games to take back into Pre Season in July.

Thanks to for hosting us and providing the BBQ for the boys.

As usual, the bar will be open, and all appropriate COVID restrictions enforced.

This Friday we are away at in the last game of our season. 7:45 kick off for some Friday night lights!

Keyworth narrowly lost out in the final minutes of the game on Saturday against a side supplemented with the boys following their fixture cancellation.

Keyworth had held the lead for the majority of the afternoon but hats off to Hamians who fought to the last minute to get the W. Hard lines for the but we will look to put it right in our final game of the season away at on Friday night.
