National Fitness Day takes place this Wednesday and we are celebrating with inviting everyone to a free Health Fair at Carlton Forum Leisure Centre from 1-6pm.

If you, or friends and family, would like to try out the gyms, pools and classes at all four leisure centres for free, sign up for a 3-day pass.

It’s been a fantastic summer for aquatics training across Gedling Borough Council, with 38 new qualifications being achieved!🏆

This summer, we have supported:

🛟 18 new lifeguards completing their NPLQ training
🏊 10 swimming teachers upskilling to complete their SEQ Baby and Toddler Qualification
🌊 10 new SEQ Swimming Teachers qualifying to help deliver high-quality swimming lessons across our facilities

These achievements represent a fantastic investment in the skills and development of our aquatics workforce, helping us to continue providing safe, welcoming and high-quality leisure services for our communities.

A huge congratulations to everyone who has completed their training. We are incredibly proud of you all! 👏
