Great session tonight well done to everyone that passed there recent promotion’s, Don’t forget next weeks Sunday class 10/04/22 is closed due to me taking my 4th Degree in London, but Tuesdays classes are running as usual. The following Sunday is Easter Sunday and I’m happy to put a class on if students will be in attendance so just let me know if you will be able to attend ☺️

Dear students,

Please note July's Region 5 squad and technical training date is set for Saturday 24th July.

Day: Saturday 24th July

Time: 10.30am till 12.30pm

Venue: Selston Parish Hall, Mansfield Road, Selston, Nottingham, NG16 6EE

Cost £3.00 per 30 minutes

£7.00 per 1.5 hours

£8.00 for 2 hours.

First 30 minutes will consist of fitness.

Second 30 minutes will cover pad work.

Third 30 minutes will cover technical aspects of techniques and/or patterns for kup grades.

Fourth 30 minutes will cover technical aspects along with Degree patterns.

The first hour is open to ALL students including GX.
The following 30 minutes is for ALL TKD grades.
The last 30 minutes is for Degree grades ONLY.

Please make payments to the Region 5 account. Email your instructor for payment details.

Region sessions are mandatory for student's wishing to promote to Degree grade.

With this in mind Region 5 Instructors have agreed that students wishing to promote to kup grade MUST attend at least 1 regional session over a 3 month period.
2nd kup and above students would be expected to attend at least 80% of the regional sessions available to them prior to their next promotion.

⭐️SQUAD AND TECHNICAL TRAINING⭐️

With the rules now allowing us to train in the lovely outdoors, myself and Mr Short cannot wait to see you all for that so needed face to face contact.

The next Region 5 session is Saturday 24th April.
Venue Address: Hall Park Academy, Mansfield Road, Eastwood, Nottingham, NG16 3EA
Venue: MUGA's (outdoor football pitch)
Time: 10.30am till 11.30am
Cost: £3.00 for 30 minutes or £5.00 for the hour.

Hope you can all make it as were so excited to seeing you all there!! You may even receive a little gift!!

Please at your earliest convenience could you confirm your attendance, so myself and Mr Short can start the pairing/grouping process. Many thanks.

Attire: Full suit and belt. There will be no need for footwear (though you can wear if you wish) as the ground is suitable to bare feet. Please bring a drink too.

However, weather depending tracksuits/trainers can be worn. This session will ONLY BE CANCELLED due to extreme weather conditions. A little rain is not extreme.

There is NO limit to the number of students in either category as we run an organised sporting activity and follow and adhere to our National Governing Body (British Taekwon-Do Council) and have relevant Risk Assessments in place.

Both adults and children are allowed to return to contact training outdoors with NO social distancing required. However, adults MUST wear a face mask (no specific face mask, but clear is best to help and assist those students, who may have disabilities or are hard of hearing) this is only whilst training in a group or pair.

As we are allowed contact training (use of pads) be rest assured ALL equipment used will be sterilised using anti-bacterial cleaning agents. Only those in those set groups or pairs will use equipment handed to them, no sharing of equipment with other groups or pairs will be allowed.
Wherever possible children will be paired with children and adults with adults.
