Over the past few years, it has developed into 15 teams, split into three groups of five, competing for promotion and relegation.

🚨 IT'S GAME DAY IN GROUP B! 🚨

The Coventry Cobras are back on home ice as they welcome the Grimsby Trawlers! 🐍🏒

And this one has 2nd place written all over it! 👀

The Cobras currently sit on the same number of points as the Sheffield Blazers, meaning every goal and every point could be crucial.

🐍 A win for the Cobras would put huge pressure on the Blazers, who have only their final game of the season left to play.

The Trawlers won't be looking to make it easy, though. They'll be looking to spoil Coventry's push up the table and finish their own campaign on a high.

The Blazers will be watching.
The Cobras will be hunting.
And the Trawlers could have a massive say in who finishes 2nd!

We knew the Knights had a huge game on their hands...

The Nottingham Knights have pulled off a massive result against the Group A champions, handing the Cambridge Narwhals their first ever defeat since joining the LLIHC!

Yes, you read that right...

The Narwhals have finally been beaten. 🐋💥

After an incredible run of results since entering the league, the champions have finally found themselves on the wrong side of the scoreboard.

A huge night for the Knights, and one that will certainly go down in LLIHC history!

The final Group A showdown is here as the Nottingham Knights host the Cambridge Narwhals! 🏒🔥

The Narwhals have already secured 1st place, but they'll be looking to finish their season in style and show once again why they're the champions.

For the Knights, however, this game is absolutely massive...

🥈 2nd place is still up for grabs!

A Knights victory would see them leapfrog the Birmingham Rockets and claim the runners-up spot, while anything less would see the Rockets hold on to 2nd.

So can the Knights pull off the result they need against the champions?

Or will the Narwhals put the perfect finishing touch on another incredible Group A campaign?

🚨 GROUP C IS OFFICIALLY COMPLETE! 🚨

That's it... Group C has come to an end! 🏒

The final fixture between the Sheffield Mavericks and Peterborough Warriors has ended in a forfeit, bringing the Group C season to a close.

And what a season it has been!

🥇 Peterborough Warriors – 1st place
🥈 Blackburn Renegades IHC – 2nd place
🥉 Beighton Bombers IHC – 3rd place
4️⃣ Manchester Swarm IHC
5️⃣ Sheffield Mavericks IHC

The Warriors finish the season unbeaten with 6 wins and 2 draws, taking 14 points and securing the Group C title! 🏆

The Renegades finish comfortably in 2nd with 10 points, securing promotion alongside the Warriors.

The Bombers finish 3rd on 7 points, while the Swarm take 4th with 6 points.

And after a season full of twists and turns, the Mavericks finish 5th.

That's another group wrapped up for the season!

Group C is back on the ice today as the Blackburn Renegades host the Sheffield Mavericks!

The Renegades have already secured 2nd place, but they'll want to finish their home campaign in style and keep their fantastic run of form going.

The Mavericks, however, still have plenty to fight for.

A win today would keep their hopes of climbing the standings alive and give them huge momentum heading into their final fixtures.

Expect plenty of pace.
Expect plenty of goals.
And expect two teams giving everything until the final buzzer.

The weekend brings us another huge clash in Group C as the Blackburn Renegades IHC welcome the Sheffield Mavericks IHC.

The Renegades have already secured 2nd place, but they'll be determined to finish their season on a high in front of their home fans.

Standing in their way are the Mavericks, who still have everything to play for. With games remaining, every point is crucial as they look to climb the standings and finish the season as strongly as possible.

Blackburn will be looking to defend home ice.

The Mavericks will be looking to spoil the party.

The Cambridge Narwhals have officially secured 1st place in Group A, but they also hold the key to who finishes 2nd.

Their final game of the season is against the Nottingham Knights, and the result will decide who claims the runners-up spot.

🏒 If the Narwhals win or draw, the Birmingham Rockets will finish 2nd.

🏒 If the Knights win, they will leapfrog the Rockets and claim 2nd place themselves.

Final score in Group A:

Birmingham Rockets 4 – 4 Narwhals Cambridge Ice Hockey Team

What. A. Game.

Two of Group A's best went toe-to-toe and neither could be separated after a thrilling 4-4 draw.

The Rockets pushed the champions all the way, but the Narwhals once again showed why they're such a difficult team to beat, battling back to earn a valuable point.

And that point means everything...

🏆 The Cambridge Narwhals have officially secured 1st place in Group A!

Another outstanding season from the reigning champions, who have once again finished at the top of the standings.

Credit to the Rockets, though. They gave the champions a real test and proved they'll be a force to be reckoned with.
