Catering for the requirements of all age groups and abilities from tots to adults, beginners to County competition players, challenging learning disabled clients and physically disabled players from complete beginners to Paralympic standard.

10 years experience of providing high quality group and individual tennis lessons at tennis clubs, sports centres and schools. Energetic yet patient coach pr

oviding sessions tailored to the player’s needs inspiring and encouraging them to learn in a fun, interesting and enjoyable environment. Great understanding of all aspects of tennis with particular expertise in improving player’s technique. Passionate about tennis and keen to pass on my knowledge and enthusiasm to my players, especially those who might be nervous about starting or continuing their tennis experience. Cardio, Tennis Express, Youth Start and Youth Tennis programmes all provided. Competed in LTA tournaments as a junior. Represented multiple club first teams at junior and senior level in different counties. Formerly Club Champion at both junior and senior levels. Speedy and reliable racket stringing service also available.

Keyworth Tennis Club held another successful Open Day on Saturday 16th May 2026. Fortunately managed to dodge the rain and it was one of our biggest ever with children and adults of all ages taking part. At one point we had all 8 courts in use including the South Wolds school courts.
I hope all the attendees enjoyed the day and the coaching taster sessions. Thanks to the volunteers who helped on the day particularly with the coaching you were fantastic and it was really appreciated.

FREE Open Day Saturday 16th May at Keyworth Club Tennis. Open to everyone.
FREE Coaching with Level 4 LTA accredited coach Patrick Smith.
Sessions as follows
2pm Junior Red 5-8yrs
3pm Junior Orange 8-10 yrs
4pm Junior Yellow 11-18 yrs
Courts will also be free for open play, and even to give Pickleball a go. Equipment can be borrowed/EventsV2/Book/ece7861c-a986-41bc-9e04-4cd0e4edbc12.

Patrick Smith Tennis Coaching is running children's tennis camps at Keyworth Tennis Club during the May half term holidays 2026. Wednesday May 27th and Friday May 29th 9am-12pm.

All coaches are LTA qualified, DBS, safeguarding and first aid trained.

So if you are a first-time player or on the way to Wimbledon, our camps are sure to keep you entertained. Make friends, learn new skills, develop teamwork and become a better tennis player.

British Pro Series event at Lexus Nottingham Tennis Centre. Great to be at such a prestigious venue to hold tournaments like this. Inspirational for all our players (and me) to watch tennis of this level, including so many up and coming British players 🇬🇧💪. Here is a quick video from my YouTube channel around where to move if you successfully lob your opponent in singles or doubles. This is based on the most common shot you will receive back so you are in the most effective position to put the ball away. Hope it helps 💪👍.
