The ever present Tom Watson cruises up the leaderboard with another fantastic driving and iron display (although he definitely looks a little uneasy with his putter). Tom would eventually finish tied for the lead at the end of the day alongside Ian Baker-Finch.

Bernhard Langer also shows his early promise with a superb all round display and a reminder as to how long he’s been playing top class competitive golf.

Overnight leader and youngster Ian Baker-Finch surges ahead of the quality field with a small blip towards the end, he’s very honest during his post round interview and will go into the final round tied for the lead, but with who….?

Nick Faldo however struggles all day to fall down the leaderboard but still great to see him swinging the way he did back then.
