It is with great sadness that I am announcing that Smilebikes has ceased trading.

My health (along with my life-long passion for bicycles and cycling) was the original catalyst for the business, but has now faded to the extent that I can no longer cope with both business & illness together.

I would like to thank all of our amazing staff, beloved customers, and industry-leading suppliers over the last 7 years.

I am extremely proud of the 100’s of lives that we changed and the friends we have made through our “enriching lives through electric bikes” ethos, especially those with a health condition who thought they would never ride a bike again or would have to stop cycling.

Although it hurts right now, concentrating solely on my health is the right thing to do.

I will always have a proud smile inside me when I'm out for a ride thinking of our special little ebike shop and all those lives we transformed..

Due to ongoing illness Smilebikes will be TEMPORARILY closed for the next week or so.
We are expecting to reopen next Wednesday ( Jan 21st ). We will post here if it is to be a day or so longer (or shorter).
We will not be taking phone calls but will be answering e mails / texts for the period but maybe not very rapidly.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused .
We will be back soon !

Admission is free!

Smilebikes will be closed for the day THIS Sunday.
After a long hot incredibly successful week, introducing customers to the new wave of simpler, lighter , cleaner E bikes courtesy of Tenways.
We are going to the beach instead!⛱

Pictured below is a little bit of fun from Friday evening when Smilebikes customers David & Glen polished up their car ( and themselves!) and took local student Beau to her prom.

Beau has just signed for Leicester city football club and also made her England squad debut last year.
We all wish her the best of luck with her career.
