BIG GAME!

This Wednesday we host Hoopstars 1 at our backup venue in Downham Market.
With a slightly later tip than normal, 19:45.
The away game didn't really go our way but we know we have what it takes to take down the 2nd placed team!

Its an easy commute from Lynn, just hop on the train for 10mins and come support us for the evening!

Player Shoutout!

There have been several standout performances so far this season, but this seems like a great start to us promoting them. So there will be more to come!

A. Lau turned 15 last week and was desperate to start playing mens. With this being his first season of basketball, and after struggling in the first half of the season for U16, like a lot of junior players do, we we're extremely happy to see Austin pushing himself by joining the mens team.

Austin came out and dropped a career high 8pts in his first 3 minutes on the court!
Lets hope he can translate this into his U16 games this weekend!

This is a key reminder why we started this team!
Give the junior and developing players more court time to make mistakes without undue pressure. Allowing them an environment to have fun and build as individuals and a team. Whilst also allowing scope to mix in some expereienced players to further enhance their development!

Mens 2 Results!

One hell of a fight from Beccles Bombers 2! With only 6 people, and us with a full squad, they were in the running the whole game.
Eventually we stepped up on defence to secure the win, but lots more to work on as we start looking to close out our first season!

Results!

Last week saw a double header against Beccles. Starting with Mens 1 at home, followed by Mens 2 away.
Mens 1 struggled to lock in during the first half, but managed to push hard in the second half to bring the game to within 2 points, but ultimately Beccles took the win.
Friday saw us travel away to face Beccles 2, and walk away with the win after pushing hard from the outset.
