I’ve spent thousands of hours on putting greens over the years, but last week was one I’ll never forget.

Having the opportunity to help Nellie prepare for the U.S. Women’s Open at Riviera was a privilege from start to finish.

Seeing first-hand the preparation, professionalism and commitment required to compete at the highest level was incredibly inspiring.

Weeks like this remind you that improvement is never accidental. It’s built through countless hours of work, attention to detail and a willingness to keep learning.

Grateful for the experience, the people and everything I learned along the way.

Back home with plenty of ideas, motivation and excitement for what’s ahead.

Line or no line when putting? 🤔

This is where a lot of players get stuck — especially on breaking putts.

Your eyes see one thing,
your read says another,
and suddenly there’s conflict.

When a line is on the ball, players often react to what they see instead of fully committing to the read.
On breaking putts, that visual can exaggerate the slope and create doubt at the last second.

For some players, the line gives clarity.
For others, it creates noise.

There’s no right or wrong —
only what helps you commit and roll the ball with freedom.

The real question isn’t line or no line…
It’s does it remove doubt or create it?
