MICHAEL JACKSON WORKSHOP 2026:

We had an absolute blast at our Michael Jackson Two-Day Workshop, finishing with a fantastic 17-minute mini showcase for family and friends! 🎶

The energy from the children was incredible — amazing dancing, brilliant outfits and so much confidence and enthusiasm throughout the two days. We couldn’t be prouder of what they managed to achieve in such a short space of time!

A huge thank you to all the family and friends who came along to support the children at their performance. Having such a great audience really helped make the showcase feel extra special. 👏

LEARN TO MOVE LIKE MICHAEL – SUMMER DANCE WORKSHOP!

Abbotts Dance Academy is excited to present our 2-Day Michael Jackson Dance Workshop this summer!

Across two action-packed days, dancers will learn some of Michael Jackson’s most famous techniques, including the legendary Moonwalk, the Robot, signature spins, poses and performance skills. They’ll also learn exciting routines inspired by some of his biggest hits, including Thriller, Billie Jean, Beat It and Smooth Criminal.

The workshop will finish with a special dance demonstration for parents at the end of Day 2, giving everyone the chance to showcase everything they’ve learned.

Whether your child is already a confident performer or simply loves to dance, this workshop is designed to build confidence, develop new skills and create unforgettable memories in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Dance Teacher’s Assistant to join our team in Norwich.

No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided. However, a passion for music, dance, and fitness would be an advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity to become involved in a range of local performances, theatre productions, workshops, and summer schools, while developing your skills in a supportive and creative environment.
