🏅 SNEAK PEAK…

Your 2026 Pedal Suffolk Festival medals!

Every event & ride distance at this year’s festival comes with a unique finisher medal, whether you’re taking on:

🚴 Pedal Suffolk Sportive
🚴 PedalRetro
🚴 Untamed Suffolk

But there’s a familiar twist…

Both the Pedal Suffolk Sportive (Road) and Untamed Suffolk (gravel) medals have been designed to interlock with their Pedal Norfolk Festival counterparts, creating a complete set when you’ve ridden both events.

Complete Pedal Suffolk and Pedal Norfolk Sportives to unlock the full road cycling medal. Complete Untamed Suffolk and Untamed Norfolk to create the full gravel adventure medal.

It’s our way of celebrating riders who take on the challenge across both festivals and collect the full story of their cycling season.

🎟 Entries are still available for Pedal Suffolk Festival, with routes for all abilities across road, gravel and retro cycling. Enter now before they go!

And if you’re already planning ahead, don’t forget you’ll need to join us at Pedal Norfolk Festival later this year to collect the matching half and complete the set.

More than just a ride.

Supporting the new GYCC Speed League feels like a natural fit for us at TPR Events.

Long before TPR became known for sportives and festivals, a huge part of what we did was centred around community cycling initiatives, grassroots racing and helping people find their place in the sport.

From kids coaching and local racing through to community-focused cycling projects, we’ve always believed cycling becomes stronger when people create opportunities for others to get involved.

In many ways, this project feels like a return to those roots.

In fact, Neil was heavily involved in helping bring the original GYCC TT League back around 15 years ago, so seeing a new evolution of it now is something that means a lot to us personally too.

Because local racing still matters.

Not because we think everyone should suddenly become racers… but because we believe there should still be places where riders can challenge themselves, build confidence and experience that feeling of progression that makes cycling so addictive.

For some riders, this league could be the start of a lifelong journey in the sport.

For others, it might simply be a reason to push themselves a little harder on a summer evening surrounded by good people.

And honestly, both matter.

Most importantly, you do not need to be an elite rider to get involved.

You just need to give it a go 🚴

Just 2 weeks until the league begins.

PEDAL SUFFOLK FACES 📸

Meet Liz.

One of the reasons we created the Pedal Suffolk Faces series was to share the stories behind the entries.

Because every rider has their own reason for being on the start line.

For Liz, this year's Pedal Suffolk Festival represents far more than just a 100-mile bike ride.

As she approaches her 70th birthday, Liz is taking on her first ever century ride alongside her son Matthew, whilst raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The challenge is deeply personal. In 2018, Liz was diagnosed with breast cancer and received treatment with support from Macmillan. Years earlier, the charity had also supported her mum during her own illness.

Now, she wants to give something back.

Having only taken up cycling more seriously after retirement, Liz has spent the last few months building up her mileage, with the goal of reaching 100 miles this June.

When asked what advice she would give others considering a new challenge, she said:

"If you are fortunate to enjoy good health then taking up a new challenge, whatever it may be, is beneficial to your mental and physical health. So go for it."

Stories like Liz's are what Pedal Suffolk Festival is all about.

Not just miles ridden, but personal journeys, new challenges, family, friendship and making memories along the way.

We'll be cheering Liz and Matthew on every mile of the journey ❤️

What is the Suffolk Celebration Sportive? 🚴

At TPR Events, all of our rides are welcoming, inclusive and designed to be enjoyed by riders of all abilities.

However, the Suffolk Celebration Sportive has been specifically created with beginners in mind.

In collaboration with Suffolk County Council and taking place at the Food Museum in Stowmarket, this event is all about helping more people discover cycling, build confidence on the bike and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle.

Whether you’re looking for a family ride, your first sportive, or even your first century challenge, there’s a route for you.

And if you’re already a regular rider, why not bring someone new along and help them experience their first cycling event.

Who would you bring along for their first sportive? Let us know and tag them in the comments👇

TPR Social Sunday 🚴☀️

The final stage of the Giro currently on the TV has properly made me want to get out on the bike again!

There’s something about watching the world’s best riders racing through incredible scenery that reminds you why cycling is such a special sport… whether you ride 10 miles socially with friends or take on huge personal challenges.

It also got us thinking…

What got YOU into cycling in the first place?

Was it watching racing on TV?
A friend convincing you to come out for a ride?
A sportive or charity ride?
Wanting to get fitter?
A local club?
Family?
Lockdown?
Mountain bikes as a kid?

Everyone has a story somewhere.

Drop yours in the comments 👇

We’d genuinely love to read them.

Introducing the all-new and exciting Untamed Suffolk route at Pedal Suffolk Festival…

And we’re incredibly excited that Untamed Suffolk riders will receive exclusive access to new trails inside Twisted Oaks Bike Park and Trails during the event.

Inside Twisted Oaks, riders will also be able to choose between red or blue trail options depending on how technical or flowing they’d like the riding to be.

And the best part? You’ll also be able to switch between the two while out on the trail, giving riders the freedom to ride Untamed their own way.

We’re also really pleased that Twisted Oaks will host one of the feed stops during the ride too… creating a proper atmosphere right in the middle of one of Suffolk’s most exciting cycling venues.

Untamed Suffolk is not just about distance or speed.

It’s about exploration. Variety. Adventure. Community.

And honestly… we think this one is going to be very special 👀

New trails. New partnerships. New adventures.

We’re incredibly excited to be working with as an event partner for Untamed Suffolk as part of the Pedal Suffolk Festival.

Today we’re giving you a first look at sections of the Untamed Suffolk route, including some brilliant riding around Twisted Oaks Bike Park.

Over the past few months we’ve been working closely with the Twisted Oaks team during route planning and recce rides, helping shape an Untamed route that delivers everything gravel riding should be about…

Adventure. Variety. Exploration. Fun.

Known by many for their fantastic MTB and trials facilities, Twisted Oaks have also been developing exciting new gravel and XC trails around the Brightwell Country Park area.

We’re incredibly excited that Untamed Suffolk riders will receive exclusive access to sections of these brand new trails during the event… making Pedal Suffolk Festival the very first event to use them as part of our gravel sportive.

Twisted Oaks will also host one of the Untamed Suffolk feed stops, giving riders the chance to refuel right in the heart of the venue before heading back out onto the trails and gravel sectors beyond.

It’s a brilliant example of local partnerships helping create something genuinely unique for the cycling community.

This post gives you a little behind-the-scenes look at the route planning process, some of the terrain you’ll experience, and the people helping bring it all together.
And tomorrow… we’ll be sharing an aerial route overview so you can really see what Untamed Suffolk is all about.

As part of the Pedal Suffolk Festival June 27 & 28.

THROWBACK THURSDAY📸

Scenic trails, hidden tracks, huge skies and proper adventure riding.

Both Untamed Suffolk and Untamed Norfolk have quickly become some of the most talked about rides in the TPR calendar… and for good reason.

They’re not just about distance or speed.

They’re about discovery. Exploring places you’d never normally ride. Linking together gravel, bridleways, quiet lanes and off-road sectors into rides that feel completely different to a traditional sportive.

One minute you’re flying across open gravel tracks. The next you’re deep in the trees, riding woodland trails with a huge grin on your face or cruising quiet country lanes.

That sense of adventure is exactly why so many riders keep coming back for more.

And if Untamed has sparked your love for gravel riding… why not take on a different bigger challenge…

The Holkham Trophy brings a true gravel race atmosphere to the stunning Holkham Estate, with multi-lap racing, pit support and a proper test for those wanting to push themselves further. All info on our website.

PEDAL SUFFOLK FACES 📸

A series sharing the stories of the people who make the festival what it is. From riders and volunteers to event partners and supporters.

Meet Chloe, Jane, Hannah & Elle.

They may not be cyclists themselves, but they are a huge part of what makes TPR events what they are.

If you’ve stopped at one of our feed stations over the years for a drink, snack, encouragement or friendly chat, there’s a very good chance these four have helped look after you along the way.

From early starts and setting up feed stops, to cheering riders through long days out on the road, they volunteer their time event after event simply because they love being part of the atmosphere and supporting the community around it.

Events like Pedal Suffolk Festival are about far more than just the riders on the road. They are built by the people behind the scenes too, the volunteers, supporters, friends and families who help create the experience everyone remembers.

So from all of us at TPR, thank you Chloe, Jane, Elle & Hannah for everything you do ❤️

More than just a ride.
