🏌️‍♀️🍕 What a way to end the summer! 🍕🏌️‍♀️

Our Eaton Women’s Academy and Academy Plus Monday evening Fun Golf season came to a close tonight with a fun competition, plenty of smiles and a well-deserved pizza supper.

A huge thank you to the amazing Eaton team, led by Sue Ryan and Lynne Jellicoe, who have done such a fantastic job supporting and encouraging these Monday evening golfers throughout the year.

And what a group of amazing women! Seeing so many progress from Academy to Academy Plus and Membership—and still smiling—is exactly what Eaton Women’s Golf is all about. 😊

Eaton really is a wonderful, welcoming and supportive place to learn and develop your golf.

Thank you also to the rest of our fantastic Academy leadership team: Sally Benton, Liz Edwards, Kay Bailey and Siobhan.

A few downpours didn't dampen the spirits of our members and guests at the Eaton women's Invitation Day. 28 pairs enjoyed fun, friendly golf and a delicious buffet lunch in a lively clubhouse atmosphere. Congratulations to the winners, our Ladies' President, Judith and her guest Eileen. HUGE thanks to all our volunteers, especially Julia and Gill who organised the day so brilliantly.

Huge congratulations to our Eaton 2 team on achieving back to back promotions in the Norfolk ladies league! Having secured their place at the top of division 4 with a home win against Caldecott Hall today, the team can look forward to matches in division 3 next year. Well done to captain Catherine Jeffries and the whole Eaton 2 squad.

🌸🐝 A fabulous President’s Day at Eaton! 🐝🌸

Today we celebrated our wonderful Ladies President, Judith, with her special President’s event at Eaton. We were treated to a fabulous halfway house, some fun games and a delicious lunch.

The prizes followed a wonderful birds and bees theme, and we were even lucky enough to receive beautiful pots of honey from Judith’s very own hives! 🍯🐝

Congratulations to Larissa and Ali, who came out on top and won the President’s Bowl! 🏆👏

Judith has been the most fabulous President, caring so passionately for the welfare of our flourishing women’s section. She is pictured with her two Captains — Debs, last year’s Captain, and Liz, this year’s Captain — alongside Siobhan, our Vice Captain.

It was a very special day and an emotional one for Judith. ❤️

Thank you so much, Judith, for everything you have done for Eaton and for our women’s section. You have been an absolutely wonderful President! 💙⛳️

Today our Monday evening players shared the putting green with England golfer, Curtis Cup player and US Open qualifier, Nellie Ong! Fortunately our drills and putting activities weren't too much of a distraction from her lesson with Chase! Thanks to Sally for organising the session which was thoughtfully planned to help with pace and technique.

🏌️‍♀️ A fabulous pathway into golf at Eaton! 💙

At Eaton, we’re incredibly proud of the pathway we’ve created over the last 5 years to help women discover golf, build confidence and ultimately become members.

We started this years process back in March with a free Academy Open Afternoon, followed by group lessons through our Academy programme. From there, women can progress to Academy Plus, with individual lessons and 9-hole vouchers to help them develop their game at their own pace.

As confidence grows, they can move on to our Monday Fun Golf, where they play 9 holes with the support and encouragement of our wonderful Academy team.

This photo shows just some of tonight’s Monday Fun Golfers alongside some of the fantastic Academy supporters who make it all possible. 💙

We truly believe Eaton is one of the most supportive and welcoming places to try, learn and fall in love with golf.

It’s wonderful to see so many women progressing through the pathway, making new friends and enjoying their golf. ⛳️💙

⛳️ Eaton Golf Club – where golf really is a family affair! 💙

What an incredible month it has been for Ann Lockhart and her granddaughter Jess Ellis, with some fantastic achievements both individually and together.

🏆 Ann won the Norfolk Seniors Handicap Cup
🏆 Jess won the Norfolk Juniors Birdie Cup
🥉 And today, they teamed up to finish third in the Norfolk Gun Cup at Southwold.

But it’s not all serious competition at Eaton! 😂 Despite all their golfing success, Ann and Jess also found time to transform themselves into Oompa Loompas from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for Liz’s Captain’s Day Challenge — finishing a brilliant second! 🍫🧡💚

What a fabulous example of how golf can bring generations together, creating not only sporting success but some wonderful memories along the way.

Well done Ann and Jess — Eaton is very proud of you both! 👏⛳️💙

Nellie Ong’s amazing summer continues. Eaton are very proud.

Congratulations to Nellie on being selected to represent 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿England at the upcoming Home Internationals! These will take place from 4–6 August at Woodbrook Golf Club, County Wicklow, Ireland. 👍
