PUMA HAS ARRIVED AT SPORTLINK

We’ve got some exciting news…

PUMA is now officially on the shelves at Sportlink! 👟

Our first delivery has landed, featuring the hugely impressive Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 4 and Puma Deviate Nitro 4 - two shoes that have been making serious waves in the running world thanks to their combination of speed, comfort and outstanding value.

The Deviate Nitro Elite 4 is built for race day and chasing PBs, while the Deviate Nitro 4 is a versatile option that can handle everything from tempo sessions to long runs and racing.

We’ve been eager to get our hands on Puma’s latest running shoes for some time and we’re delighted to finally be able to offer them to Norfolk runners.

RUNNING THROUGH THE NIGHT AT SANDRINGHAM 24? 🌙🏃

One mistake many runners make is changing their nutrition strategy when the sun goes down.

Sportlink’s Logan Smith has a simple piece of advice:

💡 Don’t start experimenting in the middle of the night.

Your body is already dealing with the challenge of running at a time when it would normally be asleep. Throwing unfamiliar foods into the mix can make things even harder.

Instead:
✅ Stick with foods and fuel you’ve used successfully in training
✅ Keep things simple and limit your fibre intake
✅ Focus on getting regular carbohydrates in
✅ Eat enough to support the effort, but avoid anything that doesn’t normally agree with you

If you’re tackling the event solo, as a pair or as part of a team, remember that nutrition can make the difference between feeling strong at sunrise and struggling through the final laps.
