Stage win… then Sunday shift. 🏆

A huge well done to Sportlink’s Will Percival, who won Stage 16 of the Round Norfolk Relay for City of Norwich AC on Sunday morning.

Will was racing in the New Balance SC Elite v6 too. More on those soon…

Neil Staveley was also out in the early hours, running Stage 15 for Norfolk Gazelles.

You’d think we’d be used to deliveries like this by now… we’re not.

Somewhere in these boxes are hundreds - probably thousands - of miles still waiting to be run.

One of the biggest weekends in the Norfolk running calendar and one of the most spectacular events our county has to offer.

Huge Norfolk skies, beaches, open countryside, towns and villages, running through the night…

And inevitably plenty of stories to tell afterwards.

A new chapter begins for Ava Mears as she heads off to Guildford for university.

Ava’s Sportlink journey started with work experience before she became a brilliant member of our team - and we’ve loved watching her grow in confidence along the way.

She’ll be hugely missed by all of us at Sportlink and by plenty of our customers too.

Thank you for everything, Ava.

Some weekend from our very own Neil Staveley.

A huge congratulations to Neil, who completed the 50-mile Snowdon Ultra at the weekend in 14:45:56.

Fifty miles up, down and around Yr Wyddfa is quite an undertaking at the best of times - throw in the likes of Devil’s Kitchen and nearly 15 hours on your feet and it becomes something else entirely.

Anyone who knows Neil will know just how much he loves his trail and mountain running.

He went into this one without any big expectations, simply wanting to enjoy being back in the mountains and gain more experience ahead of another crack at the Dragon’s Back Race.

We’d say this was a pretty decent stepping stone.

A brilliant effort from someone who certainly knows his way around a trail.

Congratulations Neil - incredible work.

Run Norwich deserved its own podcast.

So we’ve got a special edition of Snail & Pace out now.

And there was really only one place to start.

Logan Smith takes us inside that incredible battle with Jonathan Escalante-Phillips at the front of Sunday’s race.

From a slightly suspicious pre-race request to collect Jonathan’s number, through to Logan taking the race on from the gun, trying to make the climbs count and then hanging on for everything he had over that final kilometre.

The result: 30:02, second place and a new road 10K PB.

Just three seconds separated them after 10K.

We also talk about Daisy Glover’s brilliant course record, some superb performances throughout the field and Mark’s considerably less dramatic 39:36.
