A huge well done to Poppy, Micaela and Ellie, who competed in the Performance Grades Competition yesterday at Pipers Vale!
Micaela and Poppy both competed at performance grade 1. Micaela showed off some stunning gymnastics, collecting a gold medal for her Range and Conditioning routine 🥇Unfortunately a few mistakes kept Micaela out of the medals all around, however she showed amazing resilience to finish her beam routine following a nasty fall.
Poppy managed to have a clean competition, nailing her difficult spin on beam and also collecting a medal for her Range and Conditioning routine 🥈. Poppy’s consistency across the board earned her a 5th place finish and a spot in the East region team for her first ever NATIONAL FINALS!! 🎉🎉🎉
Ellie rounded off the day with calm and composed competition, barely putting a foot wrong and smashing an amazing vault which wowed everyone lucky enough to see it and earned her a GOLD medal! 🥇Ellie also controlled her adrenaline to nail her bar routine!
Well done to all 3 girls and good luck to Poppy at Nationals!
