On Sunday we had our local Lucozade cup, Local heat 2026
23 teams in total for what turned out to be a very competitive evening of football!
In the end we had 2 teams going toe to toe in the final: Take It Eze vs Chubbie Chasers.
Chubbies firstly topped their group without losing a game before winning their quarter final on penalties.
Take it Eze progressed in 2nd place from their group before winning their Quarter final, and then beating the side who topped their group in the semi final on Penalties.
Both teams then started the final brilliantly with tackles and shots flying in, and both goalkeepers having to be on top form, before Take it Eze took the lead and eventually holding out to win the final 1-0.
Both finalists have now all progressed to our regional heat where we will wish them all the best and hope they can wave the Norwich flag high and progress to the national heat where they will have the chance to win £25,000😱
