On Friday night, Norwich Road Runners lost a beloved member of our family in Melissa Baker.

As a Road Runner, Mel touched so many of our lives and gave so much of herself to the club, our members, but also the entire running community.

You will hear us all speak fondly of Mel and the memories we have from all these years together and whilst we know she passed peacefully, we also know she fought with everything she had, surpassed every expectation given, and did it all with her wonderful smile! Philip Nicholson and Georgia want us to talk about her, and remind them always of how much she was loved!

We love you, we'll miss you, but we're here for your family... whatever they need.

New Year New Runner?

Are you someone who has wanted to get into running but is a little daunted by it all? Or maybe you have run before but want to get back and have a fresh start in the new year?

Norwich Road Runners are delighted to announce the return of our FREE Couch 2 5K programme. Starting on Monday 20th January we will begin 8 weekly sessions that are free to anyone looking to improve both their physical and mental fitness and perhaps take the first steps to a new you in 2025.

The sessions will start at 6.30pm and run every Monday from 8 weeks. The meeting place will be Norwich Road Runners HQ at Sewell Park Academy on Constitution Hill Norwich.
The sessions are for ALL abilities including complete beginners. Please don't worry, nobody gets left behind!

Please spread the word to anyone you think could be interested.
